Bashkiria is in Top 10 regions in housing construction

Completed housing exceeded two million square meters in Bashkiria over the first 8 months of 2023, which allowed the republic to enter the top 10 leaders in Russia. Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation Nikita Stasishin announced this during a working trip to the region.

“Bashkiria is one of the key centers of the Volga region with an attractive investment climate, which is a driver for the development of housing construction. The urban planning potential is almost 2 million square meters of housing, while it is necessary to involve a larger number of land plots to launch new housing construction projects. The construction industry is provided with a wide range of support measures at the federal level. I urge the republic to increase the number of new projects and compete not by the price per square meter but by the quality of the product. This will positively impact the region and our citizens' standard of living,” Nikita Stasishin emphasized at an Association of Developers of the Republic meeting.

He added that today, in Bashkiria, there are 386 construction permits with a total area of more than 3.6 million square meters of housing.

As the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, said, work with construction companies that operate in Bashkiria is established and organized. Companies provide solutions to strategic problems in housing construction, and the republic is their partner.

Let us recall that earlier, the Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia called the “Eastern Exit” a powerful infrastructure project in Bashkiria.
