Russia Deputy Minister of Construction: “Eastern Exit” in Bashkiria is a powerful infrastructure project

During a working trip to Ufa, Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Russia Nikita Stasishin called the “Eastern Exit,” a powerful infrastructure project in Bashkiria.

It is noted that the technical readiness of the facility being built within the framework of the national project “Safe Quality Roads” today is more than 80%. More than 2 thousand specialists and 248 units of special machinery and equipment are involved in the work.

Security buildings are being built at the tunnel's port areas, diesel power plants, local treatment facilities, retaining walls and staircases are being installed, and utilities are being installed in the tunnel - sewerage, fire-fighting pipelines, trays for cable structures, ventilation and lighting.

According to the government of Bashkiria, at the same time, construction is underway to connect the ramps on Salavat Yulaev Avenue to the “Eastern Exit”.

Let us remind you that the new transport hub, with a total length of almost 14 kilometers, will bring traffic flows from the city center directly to federal highways. After the facility is put into operation, according to preliminary estimates, the load on some city streets will be reduced, and the volume of emissions of major pollutants and greenhouse gases emitted from moving vehicles will decrease, Bashinform News Agency reported.
