It is planned to use more than 800 units of equipment to clear snow on the streets of Ufa this coming winter. This was announced by the head of the city’s life support department, Anton Tristan, during a press conference dedicated to the start of the heating season.
At the same time, 423 units of equipment will be used to clear snow from the road network, 230 units of equipment will be used by management companies and homeowners associations, and about 156 more units of equipment will be rented. Anton Tristan noted that this amount will be enough to cope with weather surprises.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, last winter, there were no problems with snow removal equipment in Ufa. However, the first snowfalls led to traffic difficulties. The Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, recommended that the Ufa authorities organize their work normally.
