Education support projects in Bashkiria are among best management practices in Russia

Projects to support the education sector in Bashkiria were among the best management practices in Russia and reached the finals of the Smart Dialogue competition. Based on the competition working group meeting results, 17 internships in the “Education” area made it to the finals.

In the category “Availability of educational organizations”, the republican practice “Providing certificates for obtaining places for children from two months to three years in a private kindergarten” was presented. A preschool education certificate entitles parents of children aged 2 months to 3 years to receive a place in a private kindergarten for a fee equal to the municipal fee.

Thanks to this program to support families with children, about 2,000 certificates were issued in Bashkiria in 2022 and 2,150 certificates in 2023. The project is being implemented in 4 municipalities. 32 private organizations accept children with certificates.

The finalist in the “Quality of Food” category was the regional program “Catering Organization Improving in Educational Institutions.”

In the “Highly Qualified Personnel” category, the “Grant Support Program for Young Teachers Working in Rural Areas” in the Republic was among the best.

Let us remind you that the grant support program for young teachers working in rural areas has been implemented in Bashkortostan for several years. Grants for 690 thousand rubles are awarded annually on a competitive basis to the best teachers of state and municipal educational organizations under age 35.

Federal and regional experts will determine the best practices, and residents will vote for those successful approaches they want to see in their region. The competition results for best management practices will be announced in October 2023. The winning practices will be adapted for implementation in the regions, the regional Ministry of Education told Bashinform News Agency.
