ARVI cases increased in Bashkiria - Rospotrebnadzor

ARVI cases increased in Bashkiria. According to the regional Rospotrebnadzor, about 25 thousand acute respiratory infections and 5 cases of influenza were registered last week. There is an increase in incidence compared to previous weeks.

Almost half of the cases are children under 14 years of age, which is typical for mid-September due to the formation of children's groups in educational institutions and changes in weather conditions.

Doctors urge you to follow simple but effective preventive measures:

— get vaccinated against influenza;

— follow the rules of hygiene (regularly and thoroughly wash your hands with soap or treat them with antiseptics);

- do not visit places where there are large crowds of people unless necessary;

— If possible, maintain social distancing in public areas;

- Stay home if any signs of illness appear and seek medical help.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency wrote that in Bashkiria, 672 thousand residents were vaccinated against influenza.
