The largest industry event has ended in Moscow - the 29th international exhibition and forum on tourism "Leisure", held on September 12-14 at Expocentre. The event was implemented with the support of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development, the State Duma Committee on Physical Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth Affairs, the Russian Geographical Society, and industry associations.
According to the organizers, the Euroexpo Company, the exhibition was visited by thousands of guests and representatives of the tourism industry in Russia and abroad. Egypt intends to be the partner country of the 30th-anniversary exhibition, which will be held next year, and the Samara region is the partner region.
Bashkiria traditionally became an active participant in the exhibition, presenting an authentic yurt - a traditional Bashkir dwelling with decorations. Also, at the republic’s stand was an ethnic photo zone and a tea zone. The guests were presented with a variety of printed materials and information materials.
On the first day of the exhibition, the Bashkortostan stand was visited by Vladimir Trach, Director of the Department for Implementation of Projects in the Field of Tourism Activities of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, and delegations from Russian regions. As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, Chairman of the St. Petersburg Tourism Committee Sergei Korneev spoke about his intentions to implement joint projects with Bashkiria.
Visitors to the republic’s stand were greeted with Bashkir friendliness and hospitality. Guests received complete information about winter tourist destinations and routes from the republic's leading tour operators and representatives of sanatoriums recommended health tours. During the three days of the exhibition forum, guests could taste Bashkir honey with tea and purchase souvenirs - natural onboard honey and products from the Terra Bashkiria line.
Remember that industry professionals from 40 regions of Russia and 20 foreign countries (Cuba, China, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Egypt, India, Belarus, Venezuela, Uzbekistan, and others) participated in the 2023 exhibition forum.
