Ufa was among the competition winners for the first time in Russia to design a tourist code for the city center and received a subsidy of 213 million rubles thanks to the national project “Tourism and Hospitality Industry”. Bashinform learned about this from the report of the head of the Department of Consumer Market, tourism, and Consumer Rights Protection of Ufa, Rustam Khaziev, during an operational meeting. Shortly, binoculars and stereoscopes, new tourist information centers, modular pavilions - yurts and street food, mobile stages, and a photo zone dedicated to the 450th anniversary of Ufa will appear in the city center.
The pedestrian part of Lenin Street - the ArtTerria alley - will receive a new lighting design. In addition, tourist navigation signs and light installations will appear in the city center.
