Economically active population in Bashkiria has been announced
According to a sample survey, the labor force aged 15 years and older in April–June 2023 in Bashkiria exceeded 1.951 million people.
Almost 1.906 million people, or 97.7% of the labor force, were classified as engaged in economic activities. Another 45.5 thousand people (2.3%) were considered unemployed, meeting the criteria of the International Labor Organization (did not have a job or gainful occupation, were looking for work, and were ready to start work in the survey week). The statistics of the republic provide such data.
“In Russia as a whole, the labor force in April–June 2023 amounted to about 75.850 million people, in the Volga Federal District - more than 14.622 million people,” the Bashkir Statistical Agency reported.
As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, in Bashkiria, the average monthly nominal accrued salary in June of this year reached 57,205 rubles.
In general, for the first half of 2023, the average salary in the region was 53,502 rubles. This is 15.2 and 16.2 percent more, respectively, than in the same period in 2022.
At the same time, real accrued wages in June 2023, compared to last year's period, increased in Bashkiria by 13.4 percent.
