“It’s in our family” competition winners will receive 5 million rubles

We have begun accepting applications for participation in the “It’s in Our Family” competition, announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin at an open lesson on September 1.

The competition was organized to bring generations closer together. It will allow each family to unite, get to know each other better, and create new family traditions.

Families from three generations of four or more people are allowed to participate in the competition; the youngest participant must be from 6 to 17 years old.

The first stage of the competition will be held remotely. The semi-finals are already in person. Their venue will be major Russian cities. Teams will perform valuable tasks in various thematic areas: knowledge, sports, creativity, family, and service to the Fatherland.

300 families will reach the finals, each going on a big family trip around Russia. The winners will also receive 30 certificates worth 5 million rubles, Maria Lvova-Belova, Commissioner for Children’s Rights under the President of Russia, told Bashinform News Agency.
