Unfinished facilities decreased by 79.3% in Bashkiria

The government of Bashkiria discussed measures to reduce the volume of unfinished construction at the municipal level. The details were reported to Bashinform News Agency by the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers.

According to the Prime Minister of the Republican Government, Andrey Nazarov, over the past two years, work in this direction in the republic has been significantly streamlined and systematized. The necessary regulatory framework has been approved, and the procedure for writing off unclaimed design and survey work results and costs incurred for constructing facilities over more than 5 years has been determined. As a result, the number of unfinished construction projects decreased by 79.3% at the municipal level. Over the year's first half, the number of objects decreased by 117.

Meanwhile, the balance sheets of industry departments and municipalities now reflect 1.4 thousand objects. The Republic's Ministry of Construction balance sheet includes the most significant number of regional-level facilities. Andrey Nazarov instructed the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, together with subordinate institutions, to take comprehensive measures to document the constructed and already operating facilities by December 1; transfer of gas, water, and electricity supply facilities to resource supply organizations; write-off of the results of design and survey work unclaimed for more than 5 years. The Ufa administration was instructed to complete the procedure for transferring unfinished construction projects within the same period.
