Radiy Khabirov called for more active participation in grant competitions to popularize Bashkir language

The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, called on residents of the republic to more actively participate in the grant competition of the organization for the preservation and development of the Bashkir language.

“We pay much attention to the Bashkir language, its preservation and development. Our residents play a significant role in this. We decided to support such active and caring people, those who speak their native language with pleasure, love it, and pass this love on to others. On September 1, a grant competition for individuals started in Bashkortostan. Citizens of Russia over 18 years of age can participate in it. The main condition is that the projects submitted for the competition popularize the Bashkir language, culture, history, and modernity of the Bashkir people,” the head of the republic said on his social media.

He noted that the areas for participation in the competition are very different. These include youth media, IT, education, culture, and science. The maximum amount to be received to implement the project is 200 thousand rubles.

Earlier, Bashinform News Agency wrote that the acceptance of applications for the first competition of the Presidential Grants Fund in 2024 has started.
