Radiy Khabirov awarded “For Labor Valor” medal to Republican State Committee for Veterinary Medicine head

The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, awarded the medal “For Labor Valor” to the head of the Republican State Committee for Veterinary Medicine, Azat Ziganshin, who turned 50 on September 3.

“You are doing a difficult job, and I want to thank you. I am proud that we have a strong service. You are the real sanitary border control of our republic, and given what is happening in the world, the burden on you is heavy. When eliminating the consequences at the Avdon poultry farm, where we had a disaster, 500 veterinarians worked and did the hardest work,” said Radiy Khabirov.

Azat Ziganshin, in his response, thanked the republic's leadership for supporting the veterinary service.

“Thanks to the support, our service is one of the largest and most effective in the country. It employs 2,224 people, increases wages yearly, and improves the material and technical base. Over the past five years, it has been updated by 60 percent. In general, of course, the epizootic situation is very tense. In August, for almost 10 days, our veterinarians were exterminating the infected bird population at the Avdon poultry farm. It has all been destroyed, and disinfection work is now being done. The main thing is to prevent such outbreaks. We will continue to stand guard. I am glad that young people come to work with us. We will continue to improve the work of our service,” said Azat Ziganshin.
