The fifth season of the all-Russian campaign “Save the Forest” begins in Bashkiria and throughout the country, which in 2023 will be held for the first time in an updated format. As Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Victoria Abramchenko said, along with traditional tree planting, participants in the action will now be able to engage in agricultural maintenance and cleaning of forest areas and carry out educational and scientific projects.
According to the head of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic, Marat Sharafutdinov, in Bashkiria, autumn silviculture work under the auspices of the action will start on September 15.
“In 2023, foresters in the region will plant more than six million seedlings on an area of 1.6 thousand hectares,” Marat Sharafutdinov shared with Bashinform News Agency.
