At “Community” forum in Samara, they spoke about Bashkiria's experience in strengthening people's friendship

A large-scale forum, “Community,” was held in Samara. It became a platform for discussions, exchange of experience, and presentations of projects by participants from all regions of Russia. As Bashinform News Agency learned, experts in interethnic cooperation are participating in the Community forum events in Samara. One of the key sessions is “Interethnic relations: regional aspect and cross-border cooperation.”

The organizer of the platform is the Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation on Interethnic, Interreligious Relations, and Migration under the leadership of Chairman Vladimir Zorin. The experts discussed many topics, including ethnocultural infrastructure, preserving historical memory, youth education, the role of Friendship Houses, resource centers in national relations, and many other vital issues.

The director of the House of Friendship of Peoples of Bashkortostan, Fluza Gaisina, spoke about the activities of the institution she heads, its branches, and the fact that all brand events in Bashkiria are assigned to specific dates. For example, every year, on the second Saturday of August in the Buzdyaksky district, the national cuisine festival “Beleshfest” is held. The People of the Republic celebrate National Costume Day in April and September.
