Ministry of Education recalled new measures to support teachers in Bashkiria

By decree of President Vladimir Putin, 2023 has been declared the Year of the Teacher and Mentor in Russia. The main task of the thematic year is to create conditions for the comfortable work of the teacher and his professional growth and to strengthen social security. During his speeches, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, repeatedly noted this.

As Bashinform News Agency was informed by the regional Ministry of Education and Science, some new teacher payments will be introduced in the republic in 2023. So, starting from 2023, every year, 20 school teachers teaching subjects on a bilingual and multilingual basis will be awarded a monetary incentive of 50 thousand rubles.

Earlier, the Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, signed a decree on grants for young teachers of preschool education. The document provides for the appointment from January 1, 2024, of 50 annual grants of the Head of the Republic to young teachers working in educational organizations and implementing educational programs for preschool education, for 575 thousand rubles each.

Also, in Bashkiria, grants are provided by the Head of the Republic for young teachers working in rural areas. The amount of state support is 690 thousand rubles per teacher.

Since 2019, 375 young rural teachers have received such grants. In 2023, by decision of the Head of the Republic, the number of grants was increased to 150.

We add that this spring, the country's government approved the number of cash prizes for the winners of professional-pedagogical competitions. Thus, the participant who won first place in the "Teacher of the Year of Russia" competition will now receive a prize of 1 million rubles, and the winners will be entitled to 500 thousand rubles each.

Previously, the finalists of the federal stage competition "Teacher of the Year" received only commemorative prizes. The regional authorities paid or handed monetary incentives to the winning teachers.

The same documents determine the size of prize payments to the winners of professional competitions. From 2023, they will receive 200 thousand rubles each.
