St. Petersburg Governor called Bashkortostan Days real gift for their city
Alexander Beglov told reporters about his impressions of the Days of Bashkortostan, now in the Northern capital.
Beglov noted that cooperation between the two regions has a long tradition. It manifested most clearly during the Great Patriotic War when Bashkiria accepted Leningrad residents and many enterprises evacuated.
Alexander Beglov also named the key areas in which cooperation will develop today.
“These are tourism, culture, education, and other areas. We are two industrial cities. It is important for us that our industrial enterprises enter into contracts with each other. Today, we signed agreements for 2024-2027 on our cooperation. It defines many areas of our interaction. I am happy that an excellent team has come. We will participate in celebrating the 450th anniversary of the capital of Bashkortostan. We will hold some events here. We have already received the invitation, thank you very much for that. Let's be friends, let's cooperate. I am sure that we will succeed,” said Alexander Beglov.
