

Bashkiria has the highest demand for real estate agents, military personnel, pediatricians, therapists, and design engineers. The top 5 most demanded vacancies at the operational meeting of the government were announced by the acting Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic, Yuri Melnikov.
According to him, since the beginning of the year, the bank of vacancies has grown by 9 thousand, now employers of the republic offer 51.8 thousand employment options. The unemployment rate in the second quarter of 2023 was 2.3%, below the average for the Volga Federal District and Russia. For comparison, for the same period last year, the figure was higher - 4.1%, and during the pandemic, for the same period - 6.2%.
“The level of registered unemployment since the beginning of the year has decreased from 0.83% to 0.74%. And continues to decline so far, on August 1 is 0.72%. In his report, the number of registered unemployed decreased by almost 2 thousand people, from 15.9 thousand to 14.3 thousand,” Yury Melnikov noted.
Recall that Bashinform News Agency wrote that in the first half of 2023, Bashkiria reached the lowest labor market rates since 1991 - 2.3%.
