Bashkiria’s Ministry of Health purchased vaccine for influenza prevention

Medical organizations are preparing for a vaccination campaign against influenza in Bashkiria. According to the Republican Minister of Health, Airat Rakhmatullin, on his social media, the appropriate vaccines have arrived at the Bashfarmatia warehouse. He noted that the preparations were scanned and tested in the Chestny Znak system, which excludes counterfeit or poor quality. Vaccines will soon be distributed to hospitals, clinics, and outpatient clinics.

“The first increases in the incidence of influenza, as a rule, occur in October-November. Vaccination is recommended from August to December. In the current epidemiological season, as part of the national vaccination calendar, we plan to vaccinate more than 1.8 million people. First of all, these are schoolchildren, preschoolers, teachers and doctors, people over 60 years old, and people with chronic diseases,” the minister commented.

According to public procurement data, purchasing a batch of 3,000 doses of influenza vaccine costs 680,000 rubles. The competition was won by the Ufa pharmaceutical enterprise "Immunnopreparat" (a branch of the company "Microgen").
