Head of Bashkiria announced competition for young scientist's state support

Competition for state support to young scientists is starting in Bashkiria, the Head of the Region, Radiy Khabirov, said on his Telegram channel.

Funds from the budget will be allocated to universities and scientific organizations, distributing them among applicants.

An important innovation is that academic institutions have been included in the program this year. Now all federal state scientific institutions operating on the territory of Bashkiria can also apply for grants.

In addition, the geography of scientific internships has been expanded. The list includes Skoltech and Sirius Science and Technology University.

“We set the maximum amount of a grant for internships - 250,000 rubles for Russian universities and 500,000 for foreign ones. They clarified who is considered a scientific and pedagogical worker and can apply for grants. They also prescribed the experience that scientific and pedagogical workers should have - at least three years,” added the Head of Bashkiria.
