Bashkiria's Prime Minister met with Russia's Minister of Education, Sergey Kravtsov

Russian Minister of Education Sergey Kravtsov, who arrived in Ufa on a working visit, met with the Chairman of the Government of Bashkortostan Andrey Nazarov. The Republican Prime Minister spoke about this on his Telegram channel.

During the meeting, they discussed the creation of an educational and pedagogical district based on the Bashkir State Pedagogical University. In addition to the Republic of Bashkortostan, it included Karachay-Cherkessia and Kabardino-Balkaria. As Sergey Kravtsov noted, this work aims to improve the quality of education and upbringing, and in the future, all 89 subjects will be united.

The educational and pedagogical district will ensure the unity of the educational space and contribute to improving the system of training teachers.

As Bashinform News Agency previously reported, signing an agreement on cooperation within the framework of the educational and pedagogical district took place in Ufa in the presence of the Minister of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergey Kravtsov. The document was signed by the rector of the Bashkir State Pedagogical University, Salavat Sagitov, the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan Aibulat Khazhin, the Minister of Education and Science of the Kabardino-Balkarian Republic Anzor Ezaov and the Minister of Education and Science of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic Inna Kravchenko.

The activities of the educational and pedagogical district will include ensuring the unity of the educational space and improving the system of training teachers.

Work will be carried out to improve the quality of training and meet the staffing needs of teachers, including through targeted training.

Another area of cooperation will be the interaction of educational organizations and education authorities aimed at developing the education system, shaping the content of continuous training and retraining of teaching staff based on the diagnosis of the shortage of teachers.

It is also planned to jointly promote effective pedagogical and methodological practices, methods and technologies of training and education, and methodological support for the work of psychological and pedagogical classes.

According to the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, in June 2023, an interregional educational and pedagogical district was created, which included the Vologda, Kostroma, and Yaroslavl regions. Yaroslavl State Pedagogical University became the center of the district.

Interregional educational and pedagogical districts will be created throughout the country. Each of them will include:

educational authorities;

regional institutes for advanced training;

pedagogical colleges;

psychological and pedagogical classes.

Creating a district teacher and mentor in the Year will become a tool for integrating resources in the field of education to ensure the country's worldview and technological sovereignty.
