

Bashkiria ranks second in Russia regarding the number of automobile gas-filling compressor stations (CNG filling stations), Deputy Prime Minister of Bashkiria - Minister of Industry, Energy and Innovation of the Republic Alexander Sheldyaev said at a government meeting. According to the latest data, the region has 51 CNG filling stations, including 24 private investors.
“There are 29 such stations on the territory of municipal districts and 22 on the territory of urban districts. The largest station in the village of Zhukovo in the Ufimsky district in terms of potential consumption of commissioned CNG filling stations is. It is also the most productive among all the objects commissioned since the beginning of the state program. Its design capacity is 2,400 m³ per hour, while the rest built since 2020 have no more than 1,500. Compressors from our Ufa Compressor Plant are installed here,” explained Alexander Sheldyaev.
As the vice-premier of Bashkiria noted, now the region's authorities are considering the possibility of building CNG filling stations at 20 points on the republic's territory.
We are ready to provide all-around support to potential investors, from registration of plots to assistance in technological connection to gas and electric networks. They can apply for state support through subsidies to reimburse part of the construction costs. In 2024, we expect to receive funding from the federal budget of 300 million rubles to subsidize gas-filling infrastructure, supporting the construction of 10 new CNG filling stations,” said Sheldyaev.
Recall that the opening of CNG filling stations-1 Zhukovsky in Bashkiria occurred as part of X Russia and Belarus Regions Forum, Bashinform News Agency reported earlier.
