Bashkiria determines Eurasian National Education Center "smart campus" project cost

The government of Bashkiria hosted a presentation on digital multimedia solutions of the inter-university student campus of the world-class Eurasian National Education Center in Ufa. At the meeting, the issue of the integration core and the digital data model of the "smart campus" was discussed. Prime Minister Andrey Nazarov recalled that now the priority is to determine the project's cost. It is very complex and requires a lot of preparatory and organizational work.

According to the Republican Minister of Digital Development, Gennady Razumikin, among the key elements of the work done, interviewing of the universities and filling out questionnaires by them, including in terms of information security, have been completed; based on the data obtained, a private technical task was developed for the provision of the campus with information systems and infrastructure; prepared a project for multimedia equipment.

To date, negotiations have been held with representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Competence Center for the construction industry at the Moscow State Civil Engineering University, the Republican Ministry of Education and Science, and universities of the Republic on the design and implementation of digital infrastructure and campus services.

“To conduct a preliminary cost estimate for the Ministry of Digital Development project, work was carried out with those responsible for digital transformation from the universities of the Republic to determine the necessary systems and services for implementation on campus. The analysis of the main participants with the necessary competencies was carried out. A preliminary analysis of cost proposals was also carried out,” the press service of the Republican Cabinet reported.
