Radiy Khabirov showed Belarusian bison photo in Bashkiria
The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, shared photos of Belarusian bison brought to the republic for breeding on his social media.
“They are settling in,” the Head of the Region wrote.
Bashinform News Agency reported that the first nine bison arrived in Bashkiria in May. They were placed on the Iksky State Zoological Reserve territory, which borders the Muradymovskoye Gorge Natural Park in the Kugarchinsky District.
9 more animals will be sent from Belarus to Bashkiria in autumn.
