"Health trains" in Bashkiria served almost 122 thousand people

This year, since the beginning of the action "Healthy Republic - Healthy Region", doctors of Bashkiria have received more than 121.8 thousand people, and more than 31.3 thousand examinations have been carried out. This was reported in the Republican Ministry of Health press service.

“Doctors for the first time identified 18,256 socially significant diseases. Cardiovascular diseases were diagnosed in 2,236 patients, malignant neoplasms were suspected in 209 people, diabetes mellitus in 765, and tuberculosis in 12 people. All patients with suspected or identified socially significant diseases were sent for examination to clarify the diagnosis, and they were prescribed treatment,” the regional Ministry of Health stated.

Meanwhile, according to the schedule, the formed brigades continued their work in six republic districts.

As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, the project's primary task, launched on the initiative of the Head of Bashkiria, is to make medical care even more accessible.

Mobile teams of doctors travel to the most remote corners of the region for consultations with the population. Without leaving their settlements, residents can take tests, undergo examinations and get an appointment with narrow specialists.

You do not need to make an appointment with doctors in advance. Doctors are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the last patient. Mobile complexes have modern equipment - fluorographs, mammography, diagnostic centers, and dental offices. In total, 26 mobile complexes are involved in counseling.
