The Head of Bashkortostan, Radiy Khabirov, visited the children's technopark "Quantorium of Bashkortostan" in Blagoveshchensk on August 1. The educational center includes several sites with high-tech equipment. Here, children are engaged in engineering prototyping, modeling, studying modern laser systems, and getting acquainted with the latest developments in petrochemistry and the humanitarian sphere. So, the Head of the Republic examined the zones “Quantorium Museum”, “City of Professions”, and “Hi-Tech Workshop”. About 500 children aged 5 to 18 attend free classes here. Seven teachers work with them.
Environmental education is one of the critical areas of work of the educational center. In September 2022, a plastic recycling workshop was opened based on the children's technopark. The employees showed how the device produces recyclable materials from plastic waste.
“In our center, children can see the whole process from separate waste collection to the release of new products from recycled plastic,” said Olga Zyryanova, head of the Blagoveshchensk District Education Department.
Radiy Khabirov wished new achievements to the pupils and employees of the children's technopark and also thanked the management of the POLIEF company (part of the SIBUR holding) for supporting the project.
A "Pocket Park" was arranged near the educational center. Radiy Khabirov toured the recreation area designed for communication and outdoor recreation. The project was implemented thanks to residents applying for the annual "Formula of Good Deeds" grant from SIBUR. The uniqueness of "Pocket Park" is that furniture made from recycled plastic was installed here. And the name of the park was chosen by the residents themselves.
