Federal taxi information system will work in Russia on September 1
The federal taxi information system will start working in Russia on September 1. The Russian Government approved the corresponding resolution.
Now, three regional registers will function in each region: carriers, cars, and ordering services. The federal system will receive information from the registers on granting, suspending, renewing, or canceling permits within 24 hours.
“This will improve the efficiency of state control in the field of this type of transportation, ensure their transparency and legality,” the press service of the Russian Government said.
Recall that the government decree was prepared to implement the norms of the federal law on taxis, which was adopted in December 2022.
