Tourism and services cluster will be created in Bashkiria

A partnership agreement to create and develop an educational cluster of secondary vocational education in the Tourism and Services sector was signed in Bashinform News Agency Meeting Hall.

The agreement was signed between the Republican Ministry of Education and Science, the Republican Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism, the Ufa College of Industry Technologies, and the JSC Ufa Grain Association Voskhod.

Bashkiria is an active participant in the federal project "Professionality". The Ministry of Education of Russia supported 14 applications from the republic. Our region now occupies 1st place in the Russian Federation regarding the number of supported applications. Each application is a large federal fund - from 60 to 100 million rubles. There is also co-financing from the republic and support from partner employers.

Tourism development is impossible without qualified personnel capable of providing quality tourism services. Guests of our republic should feel comfortable during their stay in the region. Therefore, providing the service sector, the hospitality sector, as the most client-oriented sector of the economy, with professional specialists is essential.

Signing a cooperation agreement by the Republican Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Tourism with the Ufa College of Industry Technologies will improve service quality. It will become a condition for the development of tourist attractiveness. In turn, the expansion of practice in tourism companies and the involvement of industry specialists in the educational process will improve the quality of tourism education.

Thanks to the support of the Head of the Republic, Radiy Khabirov, and the Republican Government, colleges are strengthening their material and technical base, repairing dormitories, and creating new workshops. Bashkiria occupies a leading position in the number of world-class workshops created as part of implementing the federal project "Young Professionals" of the national project "Education".
