Schools and kindergartens in Bashkiria will receive free Russian office software licenses. The corresponding agreement between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic and the company "P7-Office" was signed in the Bashinform News Agency Meeting Hall.
The document provides for cooperation in activities aimed at popularizing Russian office products and the implementation of educational projects provided for by the national project "Digital Economy of Russia". In addition to the agreement, R7-Office will donate licenses for the Russian software product R7-Office for schools and preschool organizations free of charge.
“As a result, teachers and students will have access to the full-featured P7-Office office suite. It includes editors for text documents, spreadsheets and presentations, image and video viewers, a collaboration platform, and an organizer with a calendar and mail,” said Alexei Kokoev, head of the R7 JSC department.
R7-Office has been transferring licenses to regional educational institutions for several years now. This is part of the company's strategy to popularize modern multifunctional Russian IT solutions.
