Schoolboy from Bashkiria hit Top at International Chemistry Olympiad in Zurich

The results of the 55th International Chemistry Olympiad were summed up in Zurich. The scientific competition has been held since 1968. Last year, the Russian team won four gold medals. The program of the Olympiad included theoretical and practical tours, according to the telegram channel of the Russian government.

The team was formed from the winners of the All-Russian Chemistry Olympiad. Gold medals were given to: Vadim Kharisov (Republican Engineering Boarding School, Ufa, Bashkortostan), Nikita Perov (lyceum No. 131, Kazan, Tatarstan), Sergey Roslyakov (comprehensive school of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence, Moscow). The head of the team is a Professor of the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University, Vadim Eremin, and the deputy head is an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Chemistry of Moscow State University, Alexander Belov.

As Bashinform News Agency informed, Vadim Kharisov has already won a gold medal at the 57th International Mendeleev Olympiad in Kazakhstan this year. He is also the absolute winner of the final stage of the All-Russian Olympiad for schoolchildren of the last academic year and the winner of the final stage of the current year.
