Boarding house for elderly was opened in Pushkinskoye village in Bashkiria

A leisure and care center for older people, “Happy Me”, was opened in Pushkinskoye village, Iglinsky District. This facility has become the fifth private boarding house for the elderly and disabled in Bashkiria, the press service of the republic’s government told Bashinform News Agency.

“The implementation of this investment project gives a new impetus to the development of the Pushkinskoye village. These are new jobs, the creation of favorable conditions for the elderly and the disabled to receive social services, and the provision of outdoor fire extinguishing in the village. I am sure that all this will provide an opportunity to implement many other projects in the Pushkinskoye village aimed at improving the population's quality of life,” said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republican Government - Minister of Finance Lira Igtisamova.

The opening of a boarding house for the elderly and disabled took place as part of the celebration of the 95th anniversary of the Pushkinskoye village.

“As a minister directly in charge of socio-demographic policy, I would like to note that your village’s real beauty and wealth are its residents. And even though you are only 200 people, you are engaged in active social activities,” said the Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Bashkortostan Lenara Ivanova.

In addition to the facility opened today in the Pushkinskoye village, Bashkortostan currently has 4 more boarding houses for the elderly and disabled.

Such facilities are created by attracting extra-budgetary investments by transferring previously closed institutions of social service and education through the conclusion of concessions.
