On June 24, on the eve of the 10th-anniversary forum of the regions of Russia and Belarus, the Bashkir capital will host a youth forum of Russia and Belarus, bringing together 500 young people aged 18 to 35. The Government of the Republic organizes the event, the State Committee for Youth Policy, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs, the Ministry of Education of Belarus, and the Belarusian Republican Youth Union.
“Friendly relations between Russia and the Republic of Belarus today are the history of the common past of our countries and effective modern communication. The progressive ideas of our youth play an important role in this unity. By creating communication platforms and points of contact, we are laying the foundation for generating new effective common projects. Students, representatives of rural and creative youth, young scientists, and members of military-patriotic clubs and movements will work within their platforms at the forum. This is an excellent platform for developing a new vector of international youth cooperation,” Yana Gaiduk, chairman of Bashkiria's State Committee for Youth Policy, told Bashinform News Agency.
The forum program is divided into four thematic areas: for the youth of the agro-industrial complex and rural areas, participants in patriotic associations, creative leaders of youth organizations, children's and student associations, representatives of student teams, and working youth. Also planned are the international youth teleconference Ufa - Brest - Minsk and strategic sessions on the prospects for Russian-Belarusian youth cooperation.
Participants will visit the All-Russian Fair of Professions "PROFfest", the Republican Museum of Military Glory, participate in the solemn ceremony of laying flowers at the Eternal Flame and memorials in Ufa's Victory Park and celebrate Youth Day together.
Recall that Bashinform News Agency published an updated schedule of street closures related to the Russian-Belarusian forum.
