Ratmir Mavliev told what ship "Ufa" would do
At an operational meeting in the city administration, the mayor of the capital of Bashkiria, Ratmir Mavliev, told what the crew of the Ufa border patrol ship would do. As Bashinform News Agency reported, the solemn ceremony of launching the vessel occurred in St. Petersburg.
According to the city manager, "Ufa" patrols the economic zone with an area of 200 miles and controls fisheries.
“This is not the first ship of the Russian fleet that bears the name of our capital. Last year, a submarine of the same name was launched into the water. Our city is firmly fixed in the line of the country's navy,” said Ratmir Mavliev.
