Law was passed allowing teenagers to get job without consent of guardianship authorities

The State Duma passed a law in which minors over 14 no longer need permission from the guardianship and guardianship authorities to find a job. Now, only the written consent of one of the parents or guardian is enough. This means that it will be easier to get a job. The exception is orphans. For them, the conclusion of guardianship is still mandatory, informs the press service of the regional Ministry of Labor.

As Bashinform News Agency wrote, the Republican Employment Centers can help teenagers search for jobs. Last year, 20.8 thousand people aged 14 to 18 applied to the ESC, and 20.2 thousand were employed.

Most young people go to work in the following areas:

- landscaping of the city and school areas;

- help for the elderly;

- cleaning in classrooms;

- care of monuments and obelisks of participants of the Great Patriotic War;

- other work that does not require special professional training.
