Rosaviatsia warned of liability for unauthorized drone’s launch
On its Telegram channel, the Federal Air Transport Agency explains what liability may arise in violating the airspace, particularly illegal drone use.
Thus, according to the data presented, fines for individuals under Article 11.4 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, “Violation of the rules for the use of airspace,” range from 20 to 50 thousand rubles for officials - from 50 to 150 thousand, for legal entities - from 250 to 500 thousand In the event of negligent infliction of grievous bodily harm or death of a person, the perpetrator will face criminal liability in the form of imprisonment for up to 7 years.
At the same time, the agency recalls that the issues of determining liability in the event of unauthorized use of a drone, violation of airspace, and other similar actions are not within the competence of the Federal Air Transport Agency.
