In connection with the upcoming annual pilgrimage of Muslims to Mecca, the FSB border department reminds us of the procedure for crossing the Russian border. To travel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, citizens performing the Hajj need a passport of a Russian Federation citizen and a visa of the specified state.
When following minors unaccompanied by adults, they need to have with them, in addition to the above documents, a notarized consent to leave from their legal representatives.
As the press service of the border department told the Bashinform News Agency, pilgrims may be denied permission to cross the state border to leave the country if they fail to fulfill obligations imposed by the court.
