“We honor people of labor”: Head of Bashkiria shared his thoughts on Sabantuy
Sabantuy is one of the favorite and most important holidays in Bashkortostan. It was held in 14 districts of the republic. According to Bashinform News Agency, the Head of Bashkortostan devoted a post to the holiday on his social media.
“We honor the people of labor - our grain growers, who worthily completed the spring work. We pay tribute to our soldiers who defend our country.
Sabantuy brings together people of different ages, interests, traditions, and cultures. Everyone finds something of their own - sports, competitions, the opportunity to show strength and talent. And, of course, this is a beautiful celebration of the friendship of peoples who have lived on the same land since ancient times in peace and mutual respect.”
