Vladimir Putin was presented with Ufa Art-Kvadrat project

Vladimir Putin toured the Developing the Creative Economy in Russia exhibition and talked to representatives of the creative industries, including Rim Bikmaev, head of the Art-Kvadrat project.

Rim Bikmaev presented to the Russia President one of the most popular cultural centers of the capital of Bashkiria and shared his thoughts on how the state can help support creative spaces and also invited the head of state to visit Art-Kvadrat during his next visit to Ufa, for example, during the celebration of the 450th anniversary of the city.

According to the press service of the President of the country, Vladimir Putin asked the participants to submit all proposals to the director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, Svetlana Chupsheva, so that the Government could work them out.

The exposition presents, in particular, Russian brands of clothing and footwear, costume jewelry and jewelry, watches and accessories, handicrafts, domestic entertainment content, including films, video games, animation and music, technological devices, specific examples of the development of the tourism potential of the regions.

"Art-Kvadrat" is located in the walking area of the historical part of Ufa. This is a favorite vacation spot for Ufa residents, the city's center of events, filled with shops, cafes, bars, craft workshops, and art salons. Recently, the creative space celebrated its sixth anniversary. During this time, its creators restored the old buildings and the factory. Ufa "Art-Kvadrat" has repeatedly received the highest marks from federal experts, urbanists, and cultural and art figures.

“Now our priority is to improve the quality of events, to make them regular. We plan to make the festival of street theaters beloved by Ufa residents an annual event,” says Rim Bikmaev, head of the Art-Kvadrat project.

Earlier, Vladimir Putin supported the project of another Ufa entrepreneur Marat Naskhutdinov, the creator of the Aibat Hallyar network.
