With the beginning of the school holidays, in the high season of transportation, the number of young passengers significantly increases, and some of them, with the support of their parents, decide on their first solo flight. As noted in the press service of the Ufa airport, special attention is paid to children under 12 flying in Russia under the supervision of airlines.
“For a comfortable stay of unaccompanied children and their accompanying persons, a special zone has been organized in the waiting room on the second floor of the domestic terminal.
After checking in for a flight, young passengers are escorted to the board of the aircraft by employees of the passenger transportation service of the Ufa airport,” the air hub explained to Bashinform News Agency.
It is noted that this service must be agreed in advance with the airline when buying a ticket.
