The operation of all drones has been suspended on the territory of Bashkiria. Irek Sagitov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, said this on May 30 at a briefing at the Rossiya media center dedicated to the issues of ensuring fire safety. A question was asked on a topical issue on the attack of drones in Moscow and the Moscow region: “How is the sky of Bashkortostan protected? And how should citizens react if they see drones?”
“Because of the situation that is developing, to ensure the safety of the republic’s inhabitants, we have decided by decree of the Head of the Republic to suspend all UAVs on the territory of Bashkortostan. Only a special working commission considers issues - to permit the drone. We, on commission, with law enforcement agencies, consider each application from enterprises and organizations to permit further use within a certain time frame. Random overflights will be stopped immediately, and the perpetrators will be brought to administrative responsibility. If residents notice something suspicious, they should immediately report it to 112 or the police. Measures will be taken immediately,” Irek Sagitov said.
