A unified standard for providing compensation for expenses for paying for housing and utilities for federal beneficiaries has been approved in Russia. We are talking about combat veterans, disabled people, and residents of the country who suffered from the consequences of radiation or man-made disasters.
As Bashinform News Agency found out from a decree signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, the amount of compensation is up to 50% of the cost of housing and communal services, and the funds are allocated from the Russian budget.
The standard will come into effect on July 1. At the same time, the constituent entities of Russia will retain the right to establish additional requirements for providing such assistance when appointing similar measures from regional and municipal budgets.
