Head of Bashkiria thanked Vladimir Medinsky for supporting Kitap-bairam
The Head of Bashkiria, Radiy Khabirov, thanked Vladimir Medinsky on his Telegram channel for supporting the first international book fair Kitap-Bairam.
“Thanks to Assistant to the President of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Military Historical Society, and talented scientist and historian Vladimir Medinsky for supporting our forum. Respectfully!”, — wrote Radiy Khabirov under his photo with Medinsky.
As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, the official closing of the first international book fair, "Kitap-bairam,“ occurred last night on Sovetskaya Square in Ufa.
Recall that the book fair began its work on Friday, May 26. It is organized in the republic on the initiative of the Writers' Union and with the support of the Head of Bashkiria and the government.
It is symbolic that the recently landscaped Sovetskaya Square and the adjacent territories became the venue for the book fair.
