Restaurateurs from Bashkortostan and Tatarstan plan to hold Bashkir and Tatar cuisine festivals together. A corresponding agreement was signed on this, signed by the head of the representative office of the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers in Bashkiria, Mikhail Kumpan, his colleague in Tatarstan Nurislam Sharifullin, and the president of the Association of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers of Kazan Zufar Gayazov. The document states the intentions of the parties to develop cooperation in the gastronomic sphere, to popularize the national cuisine of Bashkortostan and Tatarstan in local cafes and restaurants, to hold the first joint festivals of Tatar, Bashkir, and local cuisines of Bashkortostan, the Republican Government told Bashinform News Agency.
The government of Bashkiria noted that the agreement would positively impact the development of the potential of the two neighboring republics. National cuisine dishes will be presented in restaurants in Ufa and Kazan. In addition, within the cooperation framework, master classes in preparing national dishes and studying recipes developed by previous generations and presented in a new interpretation are planned.
We add that the parties plan to develop entrepreneurial activities in the catering and tourism services field in Bashkortostan and Tatarstan under the agreement.
