On May 12, at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Bashkortostan, a meeting of the competition commission for the selection of applicants for the Zemsky Teacher program was held. As Bashinform News Agency reported, teachers who have moved to work in rural areas, workers' settlements, urban-type settlements, or cities with a population of up to 50 thousand have the right to receive lump-sum compensation payments.
Three vacancies were identified to participate in the Zemsky Teacher program in 2023: a primary school teacher in the Bakalinsky district, a mathematics teacher in the Belebeevsky district, and a biology and chemistry teacher in the Salavatsky district. In total, 13 candidates submitted applications for the competition.
Based on the results of the meeting, the winners of the Zemsky Teacher program in 2023 were determined for the following vacancies:
The Zemsky Teacher program in the Republic of Bashkortostan has been implemented for the fourth year. Within the program’s framework, 147 teachers received 1 million rubles each over 3 years. This year 3 more teachers will receive 1 million rubles each. The Zemsky Teacher program will continue its work next year.
