Bashkiria plans to create Technopark’s network and large educational center

In Bashkiria, they plan to create a network of technoparks and an educational center based on a public-private partnership. This was reported at the next Investment Hour Session, held by the Region’s Head, Radiy Khabirov.

In particular, at the meeting, Valery Eremin, General Director of System Concessions, presented the concept of creating a modern center for vocational education in the republic.

As explained at Investment Hour Session, we are talking about creating a student campus with an area of ​​about 80 thousand square meters for training in popular, as well as promising specialties of secondary vocational education.

The preliminary volume of investments is 16 billion rubles. The federal and Republican budgets will attract some of them.

Another project of System Concessions is connected with creating a network of technology parks in Bashkiria. As Bashinform News Agency reported earlier, the republic already has 30 industrial and technology parks, which are 90 percent full. Therefore, there is a great need for new sites for small and medium-sized businesses.

Initially, the investor is considering five potential sites. Five more will be picked up at the project’s second stage. They will build production buildings of 20,000 square meters each. The total investment in 10 technoparks can reach approximately 24 billion rubles.

Following the meeting, Radiy Khabirov instructed the Republican government to work out a detailed financial and economic model to implement these two projects.

“The need for such sites is certainly high. It is important to determine the optimal locations for new technoparks and to inform our business about them in advance,” summed up the head of the region.
