Motorcycle season, they officially opened in Ufa. Before the start of the convoy of two-wheeled vehicles, traffic police officers made parting words about the need to comply with traffic rules, gave examples of dangerous traffic situations, talked about how to avoid them, and strictly observed the speed limit and maneuvering rules. Traffic inspectors paid particular attention to the issues of wearing protective equipment.

“The topic of motorcycle safety and accident prevention among drivers of two-wheeled vehicles is becoming especially relevant in connection with the onset of the peak of the next motorcycle season. Many motorcyclists are already observed on the roads of the republic. Accidents with their participation have also been recorded. Since the beginning of this year, 25 accidents have already occurred, where motorcyclists are to blame in one way or another. One person died, and 30 were injured of varying severity,” Vladimir Sevastyanov, head of the state traffic inspectorate of Bashkiria, shared the data on his telegram channel.

The Republican State Traffic Inspectorate recalls that drivers and passengers of motor vehicles are the most vulnerable road users. Unlike motorists, motorcyclists can be seriously injured in even a minor accident.

Motorcyclists must be attentive to the Rules of the Road and avoid violations. Motorists, in turn, should be more tolerant of two-wheeled road users, regularly look in rear-view mirrors, and also follow the rules.
