State Duma proposes to extend tax benefits to garden houses
In his Telegram channel, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Social Policy, Deputy Chairman of the LDPR faction Yaroslav Nilov announced that a bill is being prepared for submission to the State Duma, which will allow specific categories of citizens who need additional social support to receive property tax benefits - war veterans, pensioners, people with disabilities and others.
It is proposed to extend such a tax benefit to garden houses with an area of less than 50 square meters. “Today, these houses are not included in the list of objects of preferential taxation, which, we believe, is unfair,” the parliamentarian points out.
According to the current rules, the corresponding tax relief is granted for an apartment or part of it, a residential building or part of it, and a garage or parking space.
