Regular flights to 50 destinations will be operated from Ufa Airport by summer season beginning

The Ufa airport is switching to the summer season of air transportation, the press service of the Ministry of Transport and Roads of Bashkiria told Bashinform News Agency.

By the beginning of the summer season, regular flights to 50 destinations will be operated from Ufa airport. 30 Russian and foreign airlines plan to provide flights.

Aeroflot launched the fifth daily flight from Ufa to Moscow on May 1. SmartAvia and Rossiya launched additional flights to St. Petersburg in May. New weekly NordStar flights to Sochi started On April 28, and from April 30, Nordwind Airlines added two more flights a week. The number of flights from Ufa to Sochi will reach 17 per week in May.

In turn, UTair Airlines has simultaneously increased the number of flights from the Bashkir capital to several destinations. For example, up to two weekly flights will be operated to Grozny. From May 1, the number of flights to Yekaterinburg increased to 14 per week. The same number of weekly flights from May 3 is planned from Ufa to Surgut. From May 7, the number of flights to Tyumen will increase to six per week.

Since April 29, Nordwind Airlines has increased the number of flights to Makhachkala to three per week. From May 2, Yamal Airlines increased the frequency of flights to Salekhard twice weekly. From May 4, NordStar will also increase the number of flights to Norilsk twice weekly.

On April 28, Aeroflot Airlines launched a daily direct flight from Ufa to Antalya. In the same direction, RedWings has increased the frequency of direct flights twice a week since May 2. Thus, four airlines will operate flights to Antalya from Ufa airport in May, and the number of weekly flights will increase to 23.

RedWings Airlines will increase the number of flights to Istanbul up to three times a week from May 17.

Since April 27, Nordwind Airlines has resumed weekly flights to the city of Osh (Kyrgyzstan) with a frequency of one flight per week on Thursdays. From April 28, Nordwind Airlines launched flights to Khujand (Tajikistan) on Fridays with a frequency of 1 flight per week.
