The first group of tourists returned to Bashkiria from Belarus. From April 24 to May 1, the participants of the Bashkir-Belarusian Longevity program went on an exciting trip.
The first tourists included 45 residents of Bashkiria. The excursion program was designed for a week. It included visits to historical castles, places associated with the events of the Great Patriotic War, the tractor plant "Belarus", the confectionery factory "Kommunarka," and other branded objects. Tourists were introduced to the country’s sights, culture, history, and industry.
“I have long wanted to visit Belarus. I have never been there. Thanks to the project "Bashkir-Belarusian longevity," such an opportunity presented itself. I liked the trip. Everything was perfectly organized: in Ufa, we were worthily seen off. In Minsk, we were also worthily met. They gave us a wonderful guide, and she accompanied us throughout the week. Knowledgeable specialist, professional, interestingly told everything. Our group was large, elderly people, and she showed tact and attention to everyone. I liked Minsk, a beautiful city, spacious, clean. The people are hospitable, sympathetic,” Olga Rudakova shared with Elektrogazeta journalists.
The program was developed by analogy with the regional program "Bashkir Longevity" and enables older people to go on a trip at a reduced price. According to the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, 30 million rubles have been allocated from the republic’s budget to implement the program. The funds are used to subsidize part of the costs of tour operators - for 15 thousand rubles per person. The tourist trip program has been developed considering the schedule of flights Ufa - Minsk - Ufa. The total cost of the tour is at most 40 thousand rubles. Thus, participation in the program will cost tourists about 25 thousand rubles.
“I liked the trip very much; the program was rich and well-prepared. We were accompanied by a wonderful guide girl who interestingly told us everything. We lived in an excellent hotel in the city center. Going out somewhere in the evening for a walk, eating was not a problem. Minsk was struck with its cleanliness. There is no graffiti on the walls. There are huge murals - drawings on the entire house wall- but no hooligan graffiti. Also, there are no paper advertisements on poles. And so the city seems very clean. We were provided with good transport, accompanied by experienced drivers. Belarusians are great, and they are restoring ancient castles. Many were destroyed during the war and used for other purposes. They have found resources and are investing in restoring all this ruined beauty. Khatyn is tearing, and it is a pain. We have not seen all these horrors of war, and when you touch them, when you see all this, it is terrifying and painful. God forbid that this happens again,” Guzel Baiburina told Electrogazeta.
