Scooters owners will be required to register them in Russia
Owners of scooters will be required to register them and receive numbers on them, the Ministry of Transport of Bashkiria reports. In addition, for violations of traffic rules, drivers of personal mobility equipment will face severe sanctions. The deputies of the State Duma developed corresponding amendments to the legislation. According to the innovations, it is assumed that the owner of the means of individual mobility within ten days after its acquisition will have to register it "through the Unified Portal of State and Municipal Services."
Earlier, Bashinform News Agency wrote that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia made adjustments to tickets for a theoretical exam for obtaining driver's licenses to drive all categories of vehicles. In the new edition, they included, among other things, the rules for using electric scooters and other means of individual mobility.
