Bashkiria hit top three applications for All-Russian competition "Student Startup"

Bashkiria entered the top three leading regions regarding the number of applications for the All-Russian “Student Startup” competition. 203 people are declared from our republic. The head of the region announced this in his telegram channel. The competition winners will receive 1 million rubles each to implement their projects.

The results of the third stage of the competition were announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, Dmitry Chernyshenko. He noted that the demand for the competition is growing. This year the number of applications has doubled compared to 2022. The authors of the projects were students from 530 universities in the country.

“The competition covered 79 constituent entities of Russia, and Moscow, Tatarstan, and Bashkortostan became the leaders regarding the number of participants. This result can be explained: these subjects are among the top five in the rating of scientific and technological development of regions. When considering applications, special attention will be paid to startups whose topics are focused on industries critical for the country, which Russian President Vladimir Putin identified. Among them are medicine, instrumentation, and technologies aimed at import substitution,” Dmitry Chernyshenko emphasized.
